Jill Callan owner of Tiny You is a Woodside resident and mom. Her shop's front window is a kaleidoscope of colorful knits, hand crafted accessories and whimsical designs. Tiny You offers independent designer clothing and accessories as well as many European brands and products made in the USA.
Bridy Crawford
Bridy Crawford is
and American artist based in New York City. She began painting in oils
at the age of 10. After earning a degree in jewelry repair and design
from Bowman’s Technical School she had a successful career as a bench
jeweler, designer and model maker working with companies such as Movado
and Tiffany & Co. Craving the spontaneity of putting paint to
canvas she went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art from SUNY
Empire State College in NYC.
Her inspiration comes from the melding of the urban and natural
landscapes that surround her. Listening to the work of Miles Davis,
Dave Brubeck and Sonny Rollins also aid in her creative process.
Using acrylic paint and tools like chopsticks and her own fingers,
she creates the forms and details that give her work its energy.
Bridy’s work has been featured in Time Out NY, New York Daily News
and Girl’s Life. It is also in private collections throughout the
United States and Europe.
All accessories are created from images of Bridy's original paintings and are hand made in NYC.

Bonita Kline resides in Sunnyside with her husband and son. Having been a garment and textile designer for more than 25 years, Bonita now balances her time between teaching young girls sewing, art and design; practicing energy massage and meditation, and working in the studio to continue her own creative growth as a potter.
“The
clay has become a part of me, like the earth entwines with the roots of
a tree. My daily passion while working as a designer in the garment
industry was manipulating color and texture in the fabrications to
create clothing. The possibilities in mixing the yarns and colors seemed
endless. About six years ago I put my hands in clay for the first time
since I was a child. Only then was I aware of the unlimited
possibilities of the clay in contrast to the limitations of the weaving
loom. My passion for textiles continues, however my passion for clay
consumes me, allowing endless possibilities in the creation of form.”
knittedbyELLA My name is Nur and I was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey, but moved to theUSA to follow the love of my life. We married, and a year later, my daughter Ela was born.
I started knitting when I was a girl. After not knitting for several years, I picked up my needles a few months ago and started knitting again. At first, I was just happy to have found a way to relax in the evening
while Ela slept. And in the morning, it was fun to share my new creations
with my wonderful family. And one day I said to myself, "why not share these works with people who
love and appreciate handmade items and the work of artisans?" So, my brand "knittedbyELLA" was born!
I believe in love and sharing, and I put my love into every stitch of every piece I create. I hope you'll feel that love when you snuggle into one of my designs.

Tai McShane of Queens Handmade specializes in knitted and hand sewn goods. She aims to add handspun charm to practical every day items. Her wares are sold at Tiny You boutique in Sunnyside Queens and at craft fairs. Tai and her family live in Sunnyside.
Karen Kavanagh moved from Dublin, Ireland to Sunnyside in 1993. She has throughout the years stayed interested in ways to show creativity. Bookbinding, painting, graphic design and since 2000, clay.
Her
pieces are wheel-thrown, and glazed here in Sunnyside. She enjoys the
beauty and functionality that pottery and clay pieces can bring to a
living space.
